Torrey Rothstein, DDS
Dental DirectorDr. Torrey Rothstein has been an associate dentist at the Sonrisas Dental Health since 2006. As Dental Director, he oversees all aspects of patient care, the clinic’s quality assurance plan, improvements to services and programs, as well as compliance with state and local safety controls. Dr. Rothstein is in constant contact with clinic staff and volunteers regarding treatment planning, care options, and patient management. Dr. Rothstein is a graduate of the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California San Diego. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the San Mateo County Dental Society. In his spare time, Dr. Torrey is an actor in local community theater in both plays and musicals and enjoys performing with his band.
Deborah Chau, DDS
Dr. Deborah Chau received her dental training and degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in SF, and post-graduate General Practitioner Residency at University of Minnesota. Dr. Chau joined Sonrisas in 2017 and she is a member of the ADA, CDA, San Francisco Dental Society, and Special Care Dentistry Association. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and a variety of outdoor activities.
Laurie Jue, DDS
Dr. Laurie Jue received her dental training and degree from University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and graduated in 1997. Dr. Jue joined Sonrisas in 2015. She appreciates having the opportunity to form meaningful relationships with her patients from different backgrounds and she is excited to help them reach their dental health goals. Dr. Jue is a member of the ADA, CDA, and San Mateo County Dental Association. In her free time, she enjoys baking and watching cooking shows with her family.
Judyth Lee, DMD
Since joining Sonrisas is 2018, Dr. Judyth Lee has provided caring comprehensive dental care to pediatric patients and dental health education to their families. She attended University of Georgia and obtained her Bachelors of Science degree before moving to Boston for her dental training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She continued her post-doctoral education and clinical training at NYU Lutheran Medical Center with special emphasis on Pediatric Dentistry. After residency, Dr. Lee practiced dentistry in New York City and New Jersey. Dr. Lee is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Lee lives in San Francisco with her 2-year-old terrier mix, Wesley, and her husband, Mike. They enjoy exploring and eating their way through the city! In her free time, Dr. Lee enjoys creating ceramic art pieces.

Travis Wu, DDS
Dr. Travis Wu joined the Sonrisas dental team in 2019, providing comprehensive care ranging from restorative, periodontal, surgical, and prosthetic procedures to patients of all age groups and backgrounds. He attended University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco where he graduated with Honors and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2013. Dr. Wu is an active member of the California Dental Association (CDA) and American Dental Association (ADA) as well as the San Mateo Dental Society. As a doctor, he values the importance of patient education and prevention to treat not only the patient’s current health, but also promote the patient’s overall long term health as well. Outside of work Dr. Wu enjoys kayaking, hiking, the comforts of good food, and travelling the world whenever life deems it fit to do so.
